"Grey's Anatomy" is not done yet, at least not on streaming.
After a successful run on ABC, Season 21 of the longest-running primetime medical drama will be dropping on Netflix this weekend.
Season 21 of "Grey's Anatomy" picks up after a messy Season 20 finale, in which the inner turmoil between the staff at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital is just ramping up. Catherine Fox (Debbie Allen) continues to vex her staff after Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) quit to pursue her Alzheimer's disease research against orders. Meanwhile, Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Chief of Surgery Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) also realized their staff cards had been deactivated for their complicity in the secret research trial.
Season 21 will also follow up on Richard Webber's (James Pickens Jr.) decision to retire, Jo Wilson (Camila Ludington) finding out she's pregnant and the consequences of the interns standing up for Lucas Adams (Niko Terho), who may have to repeat his first year of residency after a patient's wrongful death.

All 18 episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 21 will be available to stream on Netflix on Saturday, June 14. Previous seasons of the show are available on the streaming platform as well.

Is Meredith Grey in 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 21?
Yes. Ellen Pompeo as Dr. Meredith Grey appears in only eight episodes of Season 21.
Pompeo, in August 2022, announced she would have a limited appearance on Season 19 and has continued to be in a small portion of seasons since. However, she continues to serve as an executive producer and offer her staple voiceover narrations in each episode.
In a recentinterview with El País, the actor said she has no plans of leaving anytime soon.
"That would make no sense," Pompeo said, per the outlet. "Emotionally or financially. The show was streamed more than a billion times in 2024. More than a billion times."
